A Lebanon woman has been picked as the first “Fantastic Gift Finder” for the Pennsylvania Christmas + Gift Show, a five-day event taking place next month at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex & Expo Center at 2300 N. Cameron St., Harrisburg.

Lisa Thomas was selected from an online contest held during the summer. According to the release, organizers were “searching for someone possessing savvy shopper skills, who’s familiar with the PA Christmas + Gift Show, and who could knowledgeably recommend several gifts from the more than 550 vendors at the show (for kids, teens, the hard-to-shop for, teacher gift, and so on).”

Thomas, a stay-at-home mother and former teacher, won a $500 Visa card and will have free admission to the show for life and free parking at the event this year.

“She has great suggestions about how to select the best gift(s) as well as how best to navigate this (very) large show,” the release says. “The five gifts she has selected from this year’s show are listed on the show website.”

The show runs Dec. 4 through 8 and will feature more than 550 specialty vendors offering a wide array of gifts, decor, apparel and jewelry, seasonal items, gourmet food and more, including extensive holiday displays, special events and other activities. Some 30,000 shoppers attend the show annually.
