Harassment – At 3:55 p.m. Dec. 4, a non-traffic citation was filed against a Fredericksburg juvenile for an altercation involving another Fredericksburg resident on a school bus on East Main Street.

City of Lebanon

DUI, drug possession – On Dec. 6, police charged Jose Bencosme-Castillo, 28, with DUI-alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 300 block of Willow Street.

DUI – On Nov. 30, police charged Deira Lopez-Castro, 33, with DUI-alcohol and drivers required to be licensed after a traffic stop on the 600 block of Willow Street.

Possessing an instrument of crime, criminal mischief – On Dec. 1, police charged Jared Brandt, 27, and Joshua Morgan, 29, each with possessing an instrument of crime, criminal mischief, recklessly endangering another person, and defiant trespass after an incident on the 800 block of Chestnut Street.

DUI – On Dec. 2, police charged Malique Manly, 27, with DUI-alcohol and driving while suspended (DUI-related) after a traffic stop on the 900 block of Chestnut Street.

Resisting arrest – On Dec. 2, police charged Ryan Payne, 30, with obstructing administration of law, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct after police responded to a domestic disturbance on the 200 block of Lehman Street.

Drug possession – On Dec. 7, police charged Xavier Baez, 28, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 00 block of South 10th Street.

Drug possession – On Dec. 3, police charged Alyssa Spangler, 31, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 00 block of South 10th Street.

Drug possession – On Dec. 3, police charged Jessica Waltman, 41, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on the 00 block of South 10th Street.

Drug possession – On Dec. 5, police charged Natasha Suarez, 27, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and false identification to law enforcement after an incident on the 100 block of VanBuren Street.

Evading arrest or detention on foot – On Dec. 5, police charged Richard Hayes, 27, with evading arrest or detention on foot, resisting arrest, false identification to law enforcement, and possession of a controlled substance after an incident on the 100 block of VanBuren Street.

DUI – On Dec. 6, police charged Mateo Esteban, 25, with DUI-alcohol and drivers required to be licensed after a traffic stop occurred in the area of 5th Avenue and East Mifflin Street.

Drug possession – On Dec. 10, police charged Michael Beenick, 37, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 00 block of South 10th Street.

Terroristic threats – On Dec. 10, police charged Chelsea Grant, 23, with terroristic threats and simple assault after a domestic disturbance at Lebanon Village.

Drug possession – On Dec. 10, police charged Samuel Gerace, 23, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident on the 100 block of South 10th Street.

East Hanover Township

Vehicle accident – Around 4 p.m. Dec. 5, a 2016 Hyundai Accent driven by a 23-year-old Harrisburg man accompanied by a 25-year-old Harrisburg woman was stopped at a stop sign on Heilmandale Road, facing west toward Ono Road. The Hyundai attempted to go straight through the intersection while a 2016 BMW 428I driven by a 51-year-old Annville woman was traveling south on Ono Road. The BMW attempted to brake but was unable to avoid the Hyundai, which spun backward and struck a 2005 Volvo 540 driven by a 36-year-old Annville man accompanied by a 34-year-old Annville woman that was traveling north on Ono Road. The 23-year-old was wearing a seatbelt, sustained a possible injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. The 25-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt, sustained a possible injury, and was transported via Life Lion EMS to Hershey Medical Center. The others were wearing seatbelts and sustained no injuries. All vehicles were towed from the scene by Joe May’s. Police charged the driver of the Hyundai with a stop and yield sign violation, restraint systems (passenger), restrictions on driver’s licenses, and restrictions on alcoholic beverages.

Myerstown Borough

Vehicle accident, DUI – At 5:14 p.m. Nov. 9, a crash occurred on West Lincoln Avenue (SR 422) and North College Street as a 2022 Honda CRV driven by an 84-year-old Lititz man accompanied by a 71-year-old Lititz woman was traveling south on North College Street, and a 2024 Hyundai Elantra driven by William Loose Jr., 61, of Lebanon, was traveling north. The Honda attempted to travel straight across SR 422 through a steady green light. The Hyundai was traveling north when it made an abrupt left turn, attempted to merge onto SR 422 west, and pulled directly in front of the Honda. The Hyundai struck the Honda. Loose was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The 84-year-old driver and 71-year-old passenger were wearing seatbelts, sustained possible injuries, and were transported via Myerstown First Aid Unit to Hershey Medical Center. Police charged Loose with DUI-alcohol/controlled substance.

North Lebanon Township

Accident involving damage to property – Police charged Jaclyn Morales, 38, of Lebanon, after a crash on Oct. 27 at 8th Avenue and Weavertown Road.

DUI – Police charged Hope McCurdy-Gruber, 66, with DUI after an incident on Dec. 8 on the 2800 block of Tunnel Hill Road, where she was found in the driver’s seat of a vehicle on the front lawn.

North Londonderry Township

Drug possession – At 4:58 p.m. Dec. 3, police charged Carlota Villamar-Yaulema, 28, of Lancaster, with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia after police observed her vehicle stopped in the roadway on Cambridge Road and South Lingle Avenue with the four-ways on.

Confinement of dogs – At 10:38 a.m. Nov. 16, police charged a 44-year-old Palmyra man with confinement of dogs, application of licenses, and rabies vaccination after his dog escaped his property on the 1300 block of Park Drive and he failed to produce proof of a current license and rabies vaccination.

Terroristic threats – Police charged a 17-year-old Palmyra juvenile with terroristic threats after he made a statement in which he threatened to kill a teacher. This incident occurred at 2:45 p.m. on Oct. 18 at Palmyra High School, 1125 Park Drive.

South Lebanon Township

Operation Fill-a-Cruiser – On Dec. 12, South Lebanon Township Police Officer Kris McCarrick joined forces with the students of Mrs. McCarrick’s second-grade class at Northern Lebanon Elementary School to help stuff Officer McCarrick’s cruiser with donated toys for Operation Fill-a-Cruiser! Donated toys will be distributed to families throughout Lebanon communities by Lebanon Lodge #42 Fraternal Order of Police and the Auxiliary.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident – At 11:14 a.m. Dec. 1, a Honda HRV driven by an 81-year-old Palmyra woman collided with a Subaru Ascent driven by a 50-year-old Elizabethtown woman in the roundabout on South Forge Road at Northside Drive. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.

Found property – On Dec. 11, a set of keys was turned in to police. Anyone wishing to claim them should call 717-838-1376.

Found property – At 11:30 a.m. Dec. 6, a silver youth-sized bicycle was found around Royal Road. To claim it, contact police at 717-838-1376.

Swatara Township

Vehicle accident – At 3:29 p.m. Dec. 5, a 2014 Nissan Altima driven by a 28-year-old Fredericksburg man was traveling south on Grace Avenue when he noticed multiple vehicles in a crash north of Apple Lane. The man swerved to avoid them and struck an embankment on the west side of the road. The man was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries. The Nissan sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Western Lebanon County Regional Police

Attempting to identify a thief – Western Lebanon County Regional police are seeking assistance in locating a subject who was caught cutting a lock on private property on the 100 block of Water Street, Annville. Police are requesting anyone living in the area of South Lancaster and Water streets to review camera footage from Dec. 10, from around 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., to assist in identifying anyone that was walking in the area. The subject may have been carrying a battery-powered power tool and was last seen running east towards South Lancaster Street around 6:15 p.m. Police do not have a description of the subject. Anyone with information should call police at 717-838-8189 or leave information on CRIMEWATCH under the “Contact Us” or “Submit A Tip” tabs.
