The Annville Cleona Fire Department has announced that it will accompany Santa Claus as he visits Annville at noon on Saturday, Dec. 21, and Cleona at 6 p.m Monday, Dec. 23.
Onlookers are encouraged to wave to Santa as he makes his rounds.
In a release, the department said “this annual event is a cherished tradition, bringing smiles and excitement to residents of all ages.” The release adds that “the Annville Cleona Fire Department is proud to support Santa in his mission to spread holiday joy and ensure a memorable experience for everyone.”
Annville Route:
Santa will start Saturday at noon at the firehouse, heading east on Route 422 before turning south on Saylor Street. He will then pass through Queen Street, Long Street, Woodside Court, and Long Street before re-entering 422.
The route then takes Santa through Spruce, Queen, Weaber, Maple, and College streets, ending up on 422 once again. The final stretch of Santa’s trip through Annville will take him through 934, Church Street, Cherry Street, Lancaster Street, and High Street.
Cleona Route:
On Monday, Santa will begin his journey on Morningside Avenue, then travel along East Pine Street, Willow Avenue, East Penn Avenue, Rosemont Avenue, and East Maple Street. Then he will take North Washington Street to West Penn Avenue before turning onto North Mill Street. Next, he’ll follow West Penn Avenue, 3rd Avenue, East Queen Street, and 1st Avenue.
Waving to onlookers, Santa will then travel Cedar Street, 3rd Avenue, West Chestnut Street, South Harris Street, South Mill Street, South Wilson Street, West Chestnut Street, Cleona Boulevard and East Chestnut Street.
Santa will then traverse South Christian Street, Gary Street, East Walnut Street, Cyrus Street, South Christian Street, South Garfield Street, East Walnut Street, South Center Street, Dogwood Lane, Walnut Mill Lane, Natalie Lane, South Center Street, West Walnut Street, Wouth Wilson Street and West Locust Street.
With only two days until Christmas, Santa will then return to the North Pole, the fire department said in the release.
