False identification to law enforcement, disorderly conduct – On Dec. 25, police charged Wilfredo Santana-Santiago, 53, with false identification to law enforcement and disorderly conduct after an incident on the 800 block of Cumberland Street.
Simple assault, harassment – On Dec. 26, police charged Helene Merwine, 24, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) and harassment after an incident on the 200 block of Mifflin Street.
Theft from a motor vehicle – On Dec. 27, police charged Marty Folsom, 42, with misdemeanor theft from a motor vehicle after an incident on the 1100 block of Federal Street.
Drug possession, public drunkenness – On Dec. 31, police charged Diane Dunkle, 55, with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after an incident on the 600 block of Quentin Road.
Drug possession – On Dec. 28, police charged Jazmilet Escobar-Caro, 32, with possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of 9th and Chestnut streets.
Drug possession – On Jan. 2, police charged Eric Hough, 31, with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after an incident in the area of Lehman and 11th streets.
Fleeing or attempting to elude an officer – On Dec. 27, police charged William Diaz Quinones, 21, with fleeing or attempting to elude an officer and driving while suspended after an incident in the area of 8th and Monument streets.
DUI, careless driving – On Dec. 24, police charged Larry Hall, 55, with DUI-alcohol, driving while suspended (DUI-related), and careless driving after a crash in the area of 3rd and Locust streets.
Public drunkenness – Police charged a 27-year-old man with public drunkenness at 2:51 a.m. Dec. 7 on the 1200 block of Maple Street.
Disorderly conduct – Police charged a 35-year-old resident with disorderly conduct at 7:41 a.m. Dec. 8 on the 200 block of North 8th Street.
Scattering rubbish – Police charged a 37-year-old woman with scattering rubbish on Dec. 10 on the 500 block of Oak Street.
Public drunkenness – Police charged a 51-year-old man with public drunkenness on Dec. 11 on the 1100 block of Cumberland Street.
Drug possession – Police charged a 35-year-old man with possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 13 on the 1100 block of Cumberland Street.
Disorderly conduct – Police charged a 51-year-old man with disorderly conduct and open container at 2 p.m. Dec. 16 on the 1100 block of Cumberland Street.
Retail theft – Police charged two 13-year-old juveniles with retail theft at 8:20 a.m. Dec. 19 on the 500 block of South Lincoln Avenue.
Disorderly conduct – Police charged a 45-year-old woman with disorderly conduct at 4:59 p.m. Dec. 20 on the 00 block of South 8th Street.
Open container – Police charged a 35-year-old resident with open container at 1:02 p.m. Dec. 20 on the 700 block of Cumberland Street.
Harassment, disorderly conduct – Police charged a 35-year-old resident with harassment and disorderly conduct at 11:58 a.m. Dec. 21 on the 100 block of North 9th Street.
Curfew violation – Police charged a 16-year-old juvenile with a curfew violation at 12:04 a.m. Dec. 27 on the first block of South 7th Street.
Criminal mischief – Police charged a 35-year-old resident with criminal mischief at 7:15 a.m. Dec. 30 on the 00 block of Walton Street.
Disorderly conduct – Police charged a 30-year-old man with disorderly conduct at 6:34 p.m. Dec. 30 on the 1500 block of Woodlan Street.
After nearly four decades of service, Sgt. Bord retires from Lebanon City Police Department – The Lebanon City Police Department would like to take a moment to extend its heartfelt congratulations to Sgt. Steve Bord on the occasion of his well-earned retirement, marking the culmination of 39 years of devoted service. The police department is deeply grateful for his unwavering commitment and the significant impact he has made during his illustrious career. As Sgt. Bord begins this new phase of his life, the police department wishes him all the best, filled with relaxation, joy, and fulfillment.
Millcreek Township
Accidental death – Around 9:44 a.m. Jan. 3, Millcreek Township police, Newmanstown Fire Department, and Newmanstown Ambulance were dispatched to TLS Equipment LLC, 125 Stricklerstown Loop Road, Newmanstown, for a subject trapped under a skid loader. EMS arrived on the scene, evaluated the man, and found no signs of life. The man was identified as Clinton Martin, a 34-year-old Robesonia resident, who worked at the company for more than six years. The skid loader’s engine was running when workers found him pinned and used equipment to lift the machine off the man. It is believed that Martin was working under the elevated arms of the skid loader when a hydraulic line burst, causing the skid loader’s arms to drop and pin him. The Lebanon County Coroner was notified, and a deputy coroner came to the scene. An OSHA Compliance Officer also came to the scene.
North Londonderry Township
Hit-and-run – Police responded to the 200 block of West Elm Street for a hit-and-run crash around 9:03 p.m. Dec. 26. It was reported that the crash happened sometime between 8 and 9 p.m. while the 24-year-old Palmyra resident’s vehicle was parked on the road. The parked vehicle sustained driver’s side front-end damage along the driver’s panel. Pieces of an amber side marker from the striking vehicle were located on the scene. The striking vehicle might be white or gray in color with driver’s side front-end damage. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the North Londonderry Township police at 717-838-5276.
Western Lebanon County Regional Police
Harassment – On Dec. 18, police responded to a report of a non-active harassment and determined that a 39-year-old woman attempted to initiate a fight with a person in the parking lot of ASK Foods, 77 N. Hetrick Ave., Palmyra, and then followed that person to the area of their home. On Dec. 23, a non-traffic citation was filed with MDJ Warner’s office, charging the woman with summary harassment.
