An investigation is underway by Lebanon City police into a traffic accident at around 6:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, at East Cumberland and Bowman streets.

The accident took place near the Promenade at Lebanon East shopping center.

Police said that an adult female pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. The driver remained on the scene and has been cooperating with the investigation. The pedestrian was hospitalized.

Police are asking anyone who witnessed the accident or has information on it to contact them at (717) 272-6611. Tips can also be submitted through CrimeWatch.
