Update Jan. 23: Pennsylvania State Police said that the missing woman has made contact with her family and advised them that she was safe. Troopers said that Wicks left Pennsylvania for personal reasons, and that local law enforcement confirmed her identity and that she was safe.


Pennsylvania State Police are seeking the public’s help in locating a missing 48-year-old woman, Jamillah A. Wicks, who was last seen on Friday, Jan. 17, in Richland Borough.

Wicks was described by troopers as being a 48-year-old black female, approximately 5’05” and 160 lbs.

She was traveling in a silver 2006 Subaru Outback.

State police ask anyone with information on Wicks’ whereabouts to contact the Troop L barracks in Schuylkill Haven by calling 570-754-4600.
