LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Herbie!
Herbie is a super senior (13 years old) male, gray and white domestic short-hair who is looking for a nice place to retire and spend his golden years.
“Herbie happy to lay around and nap on a couch, a lap, a rug, a bed, wherever!” a spokesperson at the Humane Society of Lebanon County said in an email. “He seems to be able to get comfy mostly anywhere. Herbie also doesn’t mind the company of other cats. He just minds his own business around them.”
He is house-trained and is up to date on his vaccinations. He can described as affectionate, gentle, loyal, and quiet.
“If you have it in your heart and home to give this older gentleman a soft place to land, come visit him today!” the shelter rep said.
If you are interested in adopting Herbie, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
