Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course announced Tuesday that Grammy Award-winning band Train will headline its outdoor concert series this summer, bringing hits like “Drops of Jupiter” and “Drive By” to central Pennsylvania.

The San Francisco-based rock group will perform Saturday, Aug. 9, at the casino’s outdoor venue in Grantville. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. The casino will donate $2 from each ticket sale to veteran charities as part of its community support initiative.

The outdoor concert venue, situated within walking distance of the casino floor, features state-of-the-art sound equipment while maintaining an intimate atmosphere. Concertgoers can enjoy food, drinks and games during performances.

Train, fronted by vocalist Patrick Monahan, rose to prominence in 2001 with their album “Drops of Jupiter.” The title track earned the band a Grammy Award, launching a career spanning more than two decades.

Casino officials say additional acts for the 2025 Hollywood Outdoor Concert Series presented by iHeart Radio will be announced in the coming weeks.
