A 39-year-old Lebanon man faces robbery charges following an investigation into an armed robbery that occurred at a business on the 700 block of Lehman Street on Jan. 19.

Roy Worrall was arrested on Jan. 22 after detectives executed a search warrant at his North Lebanon Township residence, where police said they recovered evidence connected to the robbery.

The incident occurred around 10:30 a.m., when a suspect entered the business and committed an armed robbery before fleeing the scene. Surveillance footage helped investigators track the suspect’s movements. The business was not named by police.

Detective Ryan Margut and Patrolman Derek Underkoffler conducted the investigation on behalf of Lebanon City Police Department’s Detective Division. After developing a lead, detectives obtained and executed a search warrant resulting in Worrall’s arrest, according to a news release

Worrall has been charged with robbery and possession of an instrument of crime.

Worrall was arraigned in front of Magisterial District Judge Aurelis Figueroa and remanded to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, which was set at $75,000. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
