Making A Difference of Lebanon, PA is thrilled to announce the launch of two exciting contests aimed at inspiring creativity and supporting the educational aspirations of our community members: the Poetry Contest and the Scholarship Contest for 2025.
Poetry Contest for kids (Ages 7-18)
Unleash your creativity and let your words shine in our Poetry Contest! This contest is open to all kids and teenagers aged 7 to 18. We encourage participants to express their thoughts, emotions, and stories through the art of poetry.
- Submission Deadline: February 28, 2025
- Themes: (7-11) Animals/Endangered Species and (12-18) Humanity/Equality
- Prizes: Will be awarded by March 3, 2025, and receive invitations to our Annual Awards & Appreciation event on May 8, 2025
- How to Enter: Submit your original works of 40 lines or less, in any style, along with your name, age category, and contact information, to makingadifferencelebanonpa@gmail.com.
This is a wonderful opportunity for young poets to showcase their talents and gain recognition within the community. We can’t wait to read the inspiring poems created by our talented youth!
Scholarship contest for Lebanon County high school seniors
We are excited to offer a scholarship contest specifically for high school seniors in Lebanon County. This contest aims to support and encourage students as they pursue their higher education goals.
- Submission Deadline: April 1, 2025
- Eligibility: Lebanon County high school seniors graduating in 2025
- Scholarship Award: Three chosen recipients will each be awarded a $1,000 scholarship to contribute towards their college or university tuition.
