LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Phoenix!
Phoenix is around 2 years old and is an orange and white domestic short hair cat.
“He was brought into the shelter the day before Thanksgiving in very poor shape, but with the care and much needed TLC he needed, Phoenix was able to get back on his feet,” a spokesperson at the Humane Society of Lebanon County said in an email. “When he arrived, he was very emaciated and looking very sick, but he’s come out on the other side even stronger.”
Phoenix is currently in a foster home, the shelter rep said.
“He loves life curled up on the couch and playing with his people. He is independent enough to be alone throughout the day, but loves coming back to his people! If you’re looking for a furry friend to brighten up your life, Phoenix might just be the perfect match for you.”
If you are interested in adopting Phoenix, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
