LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Kennedy!

Kennedy is available for adoption through the Humane Society of Lebanon County. According to her PetFinder description, she’s an adult domestic short-hair cat of medium size and with “dilute tortoiseshell” fur.
She’s described in the listing as affectionate, friendly, and curious. She’s house-trained and neutered, and she is up to date on her vaccinations. She’d be good in a home with children, the listing notes.
“This sweet young lady is new to our adoption floor,” the listing says. “Her fur is filled with many colors. She is soo pretty and friendly and affectionate.”
She enjoys being held and petted, and she also likes to run around and explore. “She is a happy little soul, looking for a place to call her own. If you would like to meet Kennedy stop by her condo here at the HSLC!”
If you are interested in adopting Kennedy, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
