LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.
This week, meet adoptable Peanut!
Peanut, according to the Humane Society of Lebanon County, is a 6- to 7-year-old male cat.
“He is just not quite sure what to think of the world just yet,” a shelter rep says. “He loves snuggling up and feeling safe in a bed. He enjoys receiving pets.”
His favorite thing ever is his warm and comfy bed, the rep says. “He has come a long way since he entered the shelter and we know the home life is just what he needs! Peanut would do best in a quieter home and could also live with low-key cats.”
The shelter notes that Peanut is blind in his left eye. “It does not cause him any pain or irritation,” the rep says. “We hope an adopter can look past his little deformity and love him for who he is, a gentle and kind kitty!”
If you are interested in adopting Peanut, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
