The third annual Lebanon County Arbor Day celebration will take place Friday, April 25, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Gloninger Woods Park, located at 115 S. 22nd Street.
The free community event will feature a tree planting demonstration and a guided tour of the Quittapahilla Creek floodplain restoration project at the 22nd Street bridge.
Attendees can visit information booths to learn about local environmental initiatives, enjoy food from local vendors, and take home free tree seedlings while supplies last.
In case of inclement weather, the celebration will be postponed to Friday, May 2.
The event aims to promote environmental awareness and community involvement in local conservation efforts.
