According to a press release, the workshop “will be an opportunity for people who are interested in learning more about the application process for our Homeownership Program and how to buy a home through the Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity.”
The local Habitat for Humanity is opening its application process in May for Lebanon County properties only. At the April 16 event, interested people can pick up paper applications and learn more about documents they will need, the timeline, and eligibility. There also will be time to ask questions of the Family Services department and committee.
Registration is appreciated but is not required. Questions can be sent to family@llhfh.org.
Additional information and applications are available online at lancasterlebanonhabitat.org.
Since 1986, Lancaster Lebanon Habitat for Humanity has built homes for families in need of decent and affordable housing in Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Habitat homes are purchased by families at an affordable monthly mortgage, and homebuyers work with volunteers to complete hundreds of hours of sweat equity through the building of their home, as well as complete finance and home maintenance classes.
