LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.

This week, meet Lamb Chop and Lainey!

Chop and Lainey and lambs, and are this year’s 4-H project for their owner, 15-year-old Catalena Leisey.

They should be Pets of the Week, Catalena says, because “4-H is a big deal,” and March through July is “the best season of the year.”

“It’s an Awesome Experience for kids like me,” she says in an email, noting that she wants to go to Penn State College for agriculture/farming.

“I have been doing this since I was 7 years old and I am now 15 years old,” she adds. “It’s what I call my sport!”

Congratulations to Lamb Chop and Lainey for being this week’s LebTown Pets of the Week!
