In the Net Sports Complex is thrilled to announce the addition of Lancaster County native Marli Schreiner as the facility’s new Softball Director.
According to In the Net’s Business Manager Kristen Blouch, Schreiner has an extensive softball history.
“We welcome Marli to the team! As we continue to expand and improve our facility, she will be responsible for the creation of new camps, clinics, showcases and tournaments,” Blouch said. “The passion she has for the game is obvious, and I have no doubt that she will pour that passion into all these events, as well with each player that steps foot on the field.”
Schreiner has over 20 years of playing experience, and five years of coaching.
In high school, she earned seven varsity letters in both tennis and softball, where she was a four-time Lancaster-Lebanon League first team all-star softball player.
After graduating from J.P. McCaskey High School, she went on to attend Millersville University where she served as a four-year starter and team leader. Other collegiate accolades include being a five-time PSAC Scholar-Athlete, NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete in 2023, and CSC Academic All-District in 2024. Over her five-year tenure at Millersville, she acquired a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Administration before obtaining a Master’s degree in Sport Management.
Schreiner previously coached different travel ball organizations and currently helps coach the Millersville University softball team.
“I am very excited to have landed here at In The Net, and for the opportunity to continue giving back to the sport that I love,” said Schreiner. “I look forward to stepping up to the plate again, just in a different way!”
