Strong to gusty thunderstorms are going to pass over our region between 9 a.m. and noon Friday. Loud thunder, along with heavy rain and frequent lightning, is likely. Up to a quarter inch of rain is likely before clearing takes place. Temperatures will rebound to either side of 80 degrees.
Widely scattered leftover showers are possible early Saturday morning, as temperatures will top out in the lower 80s, with more widespread thunderstorms developing by the early evening.
Sunday will feature early morning clouds giving way to increasing sunshine. Breezy conditions will keep temperatures in the mid-70s.
