Friday Happy Hour at Heritage Park Pavilion

Join the Campmeeting’s Superintendent, Nate, and your neighbors as we welcome the weekend with a family-friendly social happy hour.
Bring your own beverages. Snacks and food are welcome but not required.

Following the success of last summer’s Happy Hours with Nate, we are happy to return again with more fun, friends, and community this year. This is not just for Campmeeting residents any longer. … It is a weekly event intended for our whole Mount Gretna community to socialize, connect, and fellowship with one another.
Bring your own beverages. Many people bring along snacks, food, or whatever they have lying around to share, but it is certainly not a requirement to attend! Oftentimes, we grill hot dogs, easy peasy lemon squeezy. Come as you are, and enjoy!

Mount Gretna Porch Sale at Mount Gretna

It’s back! Join us for the annual Porch Sale in the Campmeeting, Chautauqua, and the Heights. A number of homeowners will have treasures on display and for sale on their individual porches and community buildings. Come experience one of the best yard sales, Gretna style!
* Please note that Chautauqua’s porch sale ends at 12 p.m., and the Height’s participants will all be centrally located at the Heights Community Building. Maps will be available at the Post Office, Visitors Center, and QR codes on community bulletin boards.

Quittapahilla Audubon Society Field Trip at Jonestown

American Flag Retirement Ceremony at Juniper Village at Lebanon

Bring your worn American flags to the parking lot of Juniper Village at Lebanon for a respectful retirement.
Juniper Village welcomes Boy Scout Troop 412 and Constance Snavely, U.S. Army Retired Bugler, to conduct the symbolic ceremony of retiring American flags that are no longer fit for display.
Veterans are encouraged to attend as they will be recognized for their service.

Mount Gretna Summer Kickoff at Hall of Philosophy

Special event this year! At 2:30 p.m., be at the front of the Gretna Playhouse for the unveiling of Guardian of the Arts. This amazing sculpture, created by Cory Wanamaker, international artist and Mount Gretna resident, is a breathtaking 12-foot bronze sculpture honoring all who have dedicated their time, talent, and treasure to the arts in Mount Gretna. This remarkable piece, generously gifted by the Mim Enck Charitable Foundation, along with Mim’s friends and community supporters, will be proudly displayed on the Pennsylvania Avenue side of the Playhouse.

Visitors will have the opportunity to see numerous 18th-century craft demonstrators, from a cordwainer to a weaver. Learn about the historical context, materials, and equipment of the mid- to late-18th century. This program is available anytime from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is invited to take advantage of this special program.
These programs are free and open to the public and are made possible by the Friends of Conrad Weiser Homestead. The on-site bookstore will be open for your convenience.

Lebanon County History Trivia at Lebanon Valley Craft Brewery

LebTown is teaming up with trivia host Kelly Fasnacht, owner of Kel Lee’s Entertainment Co., to offer another edition of Lebanon County History Trivia at Lebanon Valley Craft Brewery. Play alone or bring a team to this family-friendly trivia game, which will feature four rounds of questions (including a picture round). The setting will be Lebanon County’s oldest standing and most iconic brewery, built in 1856 and most recently reopened in 2023. The brewpub is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, with a special breakfast menu available from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

A Day at the Playground at Salvation Army Playground

A free event presented by the Lancaster Lebanon LICC. Families with children, birth to age 5 years old, and their siblings are welcome to join the fun!
Play on the playground, connect with other families, visit community resource tables, and join in fun children’s activities. The event will also include car seat checks, pediatric CPR demonstrations, and an inflatable fire safety house. Plus, don’t miss your chance to meet Bluey from 10-11:30 a.m.
