Cornell Wilson, candidate for Lebanon City Council, expressed heartfelt gratitude this week following support from voters during the recent election.

“I want to take this time to thank everyone who voted for me or wrote in my name last Tuesday,” Wilson said. “I’m truly humbled and grateful for your support. I’m running to be your next Lebanon City Councilman because I love our city and believe deeply in its potential.”

Born and raised in Lebanon, Wilson is the proud son of a single mother who worked for Bethlehem Steel and the VA Hospital. Her values instilled in him a deep commitment to community, hard work, and pride in one’s roots. A graduate of Lebanon Senior High School, Wilson was the first in his family to graduate college, earning a BA in Sociology from Lebanon Valley College.

Wilson brings a wealth of experience in public service, having previously served on both the Lebanon School Board and Lebanon City Council. He has worked with budgets, policies, ordinances, and city departments. His tenure as Elm Street Manager and ongoing involvement in several local boards, along with his role as Founder and President of Making A Difference of Lebanon, PA, demonstrate his commitment to community action.

“As your City Councilman, I will fight for clean and safe neighborhoods, promote local businesses, and support homeownership,” said Wilson. “I’ll work to empower our residents, especially our youth, and I will always be transparent and accountable to the taxpayers.”

Wilson believes that public service goes far beyond attending council meetings. “City Council is more than sitting behind a boardroom table twice a month—it’s about being present, listening, and working hand-in-hand with the people of Lebanon.”

He is encouraging residents, business owners, and property owners in Lebanon City to complete a brief community survey available on his website, emphasizing that “your voice matters.”

“I hope to earn your vote on November 4th,” Wilson added. “If you’d like to support our campaign by donating, volunteering, or sharing your thoughts, please visit my website: www.cornellwilsonforcitycouncil.com.”
