The Penn State Extension Master Gardeners of Lebanon County invite the community to a buzzing celebration of bees, butterflies, and beyond at Pollinator Palooza, taking place on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Demonstration Garden behind the Lebanon Valley Agricultural Center, 2120 Cornwall Rd, Lebanon, PA (next to the Lebanon Expo Center).

This fun and educational event is designed for all ages and offers a unique opportunity to explore the essential role pollinators play in our ecosystem—and how we can help protect them.
Pollinator Palooza Highlights:
- 🐝 Live Beekeeper Demonstration Hive – Get an up-close look at honeybee life.
- 🎨 Children’s Rock Painting Activity – Help create a colorful caterpillar in the Children’s Garden.
- 🔍 Pollinator Scavenger Hunt – A fun way to explore and learn!
- 🐛 Hungry Caterpillar BINGO – A favorite for younger visitors.
- 📖 Children’s Garden Story Time – Stories read aloud by a special guest.
- 🌼 Garden Certification Info – Learn how to certify your home garden as a pollinator haven.
- 🌻 Ask the Experts – Penn State Extension Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer all your gardening and pollinator-related questions.
“Pollinator Palooza is a fantastic way to connect with nature and learn how small actions—like planting native flowers—can make a big difference,” says Judy Van Kuren, Master Gardener Coordinator of Lebanon County. “We hope everyone walks away with both knowledge and inspiration.”
