Making a Difference of Lebanon, PA, in partnership with Friends of Coleman Memorial Park, is proud to announce its first-ever Safety Carnival, taking place on Saturday, June 28, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Coleman Memorial Park—with a free Movie in the Park screening of Kung Fu Panda to follow at sundown.
The Safety Carnival is a free, family-friendly event that brings together the full spectrum of community and emergency services across Lebanon County. From fire departments and police to EMS, health organizations, and mental health professionals, this event is designed to educate, entertain, and empower families.

“We created the Safety Carnival to showcase the wide range of resources available in our county,” said organizers. “It’s about creating healthy, positive connections between kids, parents, and the incredible people who work every day to keep our community safe.”
Attendees will enjoy live demonstrations, interactive displays, and hands-on experiences with fire trucks, ambulances, police vehicles, and other emergency equipment. Kids and families can also gather important safety information and take part in activities focused on topics like emergency preparedness, online safety, physical and mental health, exercise, and self-defense. There will also be fun activities, bounce house, face painting, dunking booth, music and food trucks.
After the carnival, families are encouraged to stay for a special Movie in the Park presentation of the animated favorite “Kung Fu Panda” at the Coleman Memorial Park amphitheater. The movie will begin around 8:15 p.m., and concessions will be available on-site. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and settle in under the stars for an unforgettable evening of laughter and inspiration.

This event is a unique opportunity to build stronger community ties while learning about the vital safety services available throughout Lebanon County. Everyone is welcome—don’t miss this celebration of connection, education, and fun!
