City of Lebanon
Simple assault – On June 14, police charged John Cruz-Ayala, 34, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after responding to the 700 block of Chestnut Street for a domestic disturbance.
Firearms not to be carried without a license, evading arrest – On June 14, police responded to the 500 block of Weidman Street for a disturbance and identified Miguel Padilla-Cruz, 21, who was known to have an active warrant. When police attempted to make contact with Padilla-Cruz, he fled on foot. Police apprehended him after a short pursuit, conducted a search, and found that Padilla-Cruz was in possession of a concealed firearm. Police charged Padilla-Cruz with firearms not to be carried without a license, escape, and evading arrest or detention on foot.
Burglary – Around 5 a.m. June 14, police responded to the 300 block of North Cherry Street for a burglary in progress. Police arrested two males: Hensy Peralta, 25, and Josue Baez-Perez, 18. Police charged Peralta with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats, and firearms not to be carried without a license. Police charged Baez-Perez with burglary, theft, receiving stolen property, terroristic threats, and possession of a controlled substance. Police transported both men to LCCB, where they were held and arraigned. Bail for each was set at $250,000.
Drug possession – On June 15, police charged Angel Vicente, 31, with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and driving while suspended (DUI-related) after a traffic stop in the area of 7th and Willow streets.
Retail theft – On June 17, police charged Melvin Morales, 45, with felony retail theft after an incident on the 700 block of Cumberland Street.
Simple assault – On June 19, police charged Helene Merwine, 24, with simple assault (domestic violence-related) after police responded to the 200 block of Mifflin Street for a report of a physical disturbance.
Lebanon County Regional
Possession of alcohol by a minor – On May 2, police responded to Sheetz in North Cornwall Township, where three male juveniles had stolen alcoholic beverages. Police identified one of the three subjects as a 17-year-old male juvenile and charged him with possession of alcohol by a minor.
DUI – At 12:01 a.m. May 8, police pulled over a vehicle on the 2100 block of West Cumberland Street in West Lebanon Township for a traffic violation and found the driver, Jonathan Ramos, 39, was driving while under the influence of alcohol. A chemical test of Ramos’s blood showed that his BAC was 0.253% at the time of the stop. Police charged Ramos with DUI, restriction on alcoholic beverages, and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
Retail theft – On May 18, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township, where Jason Wunderlich, 49, stole $878 worth of merchandise. Police charged Wunderlich with misdemeanor retail theft.
Possession with intent to manufacture and deliver – On May 29, officers from the Lebanon County Regional Police Department, Lebanon County Drug Task Force, and Lebanon County SWAT executed a search warrant on the 800 block of East Maple Street in North Lebanon Township. The investigation resulted in the seizure of about 366.6 grams of suspected marijuana, large quantities of packaging materials, and $11,060. Also, four machine gun conversion devices known as “glock switches,” a “lightning link,” and two handguns were recovered. Police discovered a growing operation where suspected marijuana was being cultivated using LED lamps, a climate control system, soil, and seeds. Police arrested three subjects, including Damion Frigerio, 21, and Xavier Frigerio, 20, charging both men with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture/cultivate marijuana, conspiracy to commit possession with intent to manufacture/cultivate marijuana, possession of marijuana, conspiracy to commit possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to commit possession of drug paraphernalia, prohibited offensive weapons, and conspiracy to commit prohibited offensive weapons. Police also charged Xavier Frigerio with persons not to possess/use/manufacture/control/sell/transfer firearms.
Driving while suspended – On June 1, police observed a motorcycle traveling on the 1600 block of West Cumberland Street in West Lebanon Township with an expired registration. Police pulled over the motorcycle and identified the driver as John Figueroa, 35, and determined that Figueroa’s operating privileges were suspended as a result of a DUI with two prior convictions. Police also determined that Figueroa was not licensed to operate a motorcycle, and the motorcycle was not inspected or insured. Police charged Figueroa with driving while suspended, DUI-related, third or subsequent violation, registration and certificate of title required, certificate of inspection required, required financial responsibility, and classes of licenses.
Retail theft – On June 8, police responded to Target, 1745 Quentin Road, for a retail theft in progress. While en route, officers were notified that the subject had fled in a vehicle. Officers were able to stop the car and identify the subject as Joshua Hartman, 34. Police found that Hartman also committed a retail theft at Target on June 3, took him into custody, and charged him with two counts of retail theft.
Possession with intent to deliver – On June 10, police filed criminal charges — possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and conspiracy to commit possession of drug paraphernalia — against Elizabeth Callace, 39 at the time of arrest, as a result of an incident on March 17, 2024. On that date, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Spruce and Lehman streets in Lebanon while working a county DUI roving patrol. The investigation revealed that Callace and another suspect possessed a large quantity of a controlled substance with the intent to deliver.
Disorderly conduct – At 12:42 p.m. June 10, police responded to Enterprise Car Rental in North Cornwall Township, where two coworkers engaged in a verbal argument that escalated into a physical altercation. Police charged a 68-year-old man and a 24-year-old man with disorderly conduct.
Terroristic threats, harassment – On June 13, police investigated a threat complaint occurring on the 1100 block of East Old Cumberland Street in North Lebanon Township. The investigation revealed that Efrain Burgos, 23, was sending threatening messages to an old acquaintance, threatening acts of violence toward the acquaintance and their family members. Based on a recent pattern of Burgos’ violent tendencies, police obtained an arrest warrant. The Lebanon County Regional Police Department and Lebanon City Police Department took Burgos into custody on the 300 block of North 8th Street later that day. Police transported Burgos to LCCB and charged him with misdemeanor terroristic threats and misdemeanor harassment.
Retail theft – At 12:28 p.m. June 13, police responded to Boscov’s in West Lebanon Township, where a 47-year-old man stole merchandise worth $45.95. Police charged the man with retail theft.
Arrest warrant served – At 5:57 p.m. June 13, police pulled over a gas-powered bicycle on the 2200 block of West Cumberland Street in North Cornwall Township and discovered that the driver, Donald Peltier, 54, had an arrest warrant out of Tioga County. Police took Peltier into custody and transported him to LCCB.
North Londonderry Township
Theft – At 4:57 p.m. May 19, police were contacted regarding separate incidents, one on May 8 and one on May 10, alleging Floyd Jackson, 33, of Harrisburg. Jackson, a Walmart employee, was observed on May 8 removing $900 from the cashier drawer and placing the funds into his pocket. On May 10, Jackson loaded a loadable card with $505.84 without a customer present. Police charged Jackson with two counts of misdemeanor theft through MDJ Warner’s office.
South Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident – At 6:10 p.m. May 29, police responded to Lawn Hill Road and Roseland Avenue for a single-vehicle crash in which the 66-year-old Palmyra male driver lost control of his vehicle while heading north. The driver said he believed that his tire blew or something let loose from the driver’s side of the vehicle, causing the crash. The vehicle struck a large rock off the road, causing the vehicle to become disabled in the south lane.
Public intoxication, underage drinking – At 9:57 p.m. May 30, police responded to the area of Woodridge and Brookwood drives for a report of an intoxicated male who was stumbling around in the area and going through residents’ yards. When police arrived, they were flagged down by someone who was trying to help a 15-year-old Palmyra boy who was intoxicated to the degree that he required medical attention. The juvenile was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Police charged him with public intoxication and underage drinking.
Trespass – At 10:30 a.m. June 4, police responded to a report of two white males parking on a resident’s property and walking up to their carport. When the resident walked outside, the men walked to their silver four-door sedan and left the property, heading west on Harvest Road, circling around the block, and passing the property again by turning off Mount Wilson Road. Vehicle accident – At 3:14 p.m. June 7, police responded to the 300 block of Schoolhouse Road in Palmyra for a single-vehicle crash. A vehicle driven by a 41-year-old Palmyra woman accompanied by a 9-year-old Palmyra juvenile reportedly exited the road due to a wet road, continuing north through a field and into a wooded patch. The woman sustained minor injuries but was not transported to the hospital.
Vehicle accident – At 10:05 p.m. June 16, a Ford Focus driven by an 18-year-old Elizabethtown woman exited the road and struck a utility pole and road sign on the 1400 block of Mount Wilson Road. The woman said a deer ran into the road and she lost control when she swerved to miss it. No injuries were reported. The Ford was towed from the scene.
Swatara Township
Harassment – At 9:53 p.m. June 14, a 32-year-old Jonestown man and a 30-year-old Jonestown woman engaged in physical contact with each other on Lighthouse Drive.
Stalking – At 3:15 a.m. June 15, a 39-year-old Jonestown man engaged in conduct on Stoner Road that emotionally distressed a 39-year-old Jonestown man and a 38-year-old Jonestown woman.
Western Lebanon County Regional
DUI – Around 11 p.m. April 26, police responded to the 800 block of East Main Street for a non-responsive subject passed out behind the wheel of a vehicle. Police found Kyle Moser, 35, slumped over behind the seat of his parked vehicle. Moser eventually responded to officers’ attempts to wake him up. Moser smelled like alcohol and showed obvious signs of impairment, police said. Police determined that Moser was under the influence of alcohol to the extent that it rendered him incapable of safely operating his vehicle, and arrested him on suspicion of DUI. On June 4, after receiving blood test results indicating high levels of alcohol in Moser’s blood, two charges of DUI were filed against him through MDJ Warner’s office.
Bench warrant served – At 5:05 p.m. June 15, police pulled over a vehicle for traffic violations on the 100 block of South Forge Road in Palmyra. Police identified the driver as Kelly Dalessandri, 47, who was found to have a bench warrant out of Dauphin County for failure to appear, with the original charge being felony possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. Police arrested Dalessandri without incident.
Disorderly conduct, warrant served – At 8:12 a.m. June 18, police made contact with a man who was yelling and causing a disturbance on the 800 block of East Main Street in Palmyra. Police identified him as Robert Payetta, 58, and charged him with summary disorderly conduct-hazardous/physically offensive condition. Police also found that Payetta had a warrant out of Judge Dissinger’s office in Lebanon County for a separate disorderly conduct charge. Police placed Payetta under arrest on the warrant and transported him to Dissinger’s office.
2025 National Night Out – The 2025 National Night Out will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 5, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at In the Net, 798 Airport Road, Palmyra. Set-up will begin at noon. The event is free to families, friends, and community members. As of June 16, there were over 100 businesses slated to attend. The event is organized to support community relationships between local first responders, businesses, civic groups, and church organizations.

Several Lebanon County municipalities
DUI checkpoint – Between 10 p.m. June 14 and 2 a.m. June 15, police conducted a sobriety checkpoint in Lebanon County. Police contacted about 70 motorists to ensure the safety of all on the roads of Lebanon County.
