LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.
This week, meet Benji!
“I adopted Benji (his shelter name) five years ago from the Lebanon County Humane Society,” Debbie Tice of Cornwall explains. “He had dietary and health issues, and had been in the shelter for a year. He is probably middle-aged, but no one really knows.”
Whatever his age, this kitty is “thriving now – very handsome, playful, and affectionate,” Debbie says. “He loves to ‘help’ me when I’m cooking, reading, typing, etc., and he wakes me in the morning by pushing the buttons on my adjustable bed’s remote control.”
Congratulations to Benji for finding his forever home … and for being this week’s LebTown Pet of the Week!
