LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.

This week, meet Nefertiti!

Alex, Nefertiti’s 21-year-old owner, says they share a birthday on Jan. 8. “We’ve had her since 2014 October,” Alex explains. “Her old owners kicked her out as a kitten and she decided to just walk in our house and that she lived with us from there on. Her entire personality and existence has been that ever since, she gets what she wants. Special kibble, her own cat tower, her own toys, etc.”

Nefertiti is a bit elderly. Alex says, but this domestic shorthair tuxedo’s name “fits her personality as a ruler. … She loves Elvis, we don’t know why but he so happens to also share a birthday with us.”

Congratulations to Nefertiti for being this week’s LebTown Pet of the Week!
