With the start of school fast approaching, Lebanon Transit is reminding local students of its new policies regarding the reduced $1.00 Student Fare. Students are no longer required to show drivers a colored Lebanon Transit Student Fare Card to receive the reduced fare. Instead, students only have to show drivers their current school-issued ID card.
Students who do not have a school-issued ID may still receive a Student Fare Card directly from Lebanon Transit. Proof of current enrollment, such as a signed letter from the school, is still required. Applications may be filled out at the agency’s main office at 200 Willow Street or online here.Â
Additionally, the student fare is honored all year long, including over the summer.
Students must be actively enrolled in a K-12 school, college or university, or trade school, and may receive the reduced fare regardless of when or where they ride the bus.
