PennDOT announced Friday that a PennDOT maintenance crew is scheduled to resurface two sections of U.S. Route 422 in Lebanon County this week.
The work consists of milling and paving from 15th Ave. in North Lebanon Township to Bowman Street in Lebanon City, and between Sixth and South Fifth avenues in the city.
Weather permitting, the work will be performed from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, Sept. 15-19. Motorists should expect lane restrictions and traffic shifts on Route 422 during work hours, although at least one lane will remain open in each direction. Flaggers will direct traffic at intersections within the work limits.
Delays are expected, according to Dave Thompson, spokesman for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Travelers should consider alternate routes.
