LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.
Our Pet of the Week is sometimes available for adoption through a local shelter. Other times the weekly column will spotlight a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home.
This week, meet Friday!

Friday, sadly, passed away in July. According to her owner, Mary Dercole, she “was 19 years old and well loved!” Mary says she got Friday from a farm in Lancaster where she was delivering a FedEx package.
“She was a food stealer!” Mary says. “Nothing could get left unattended or she would grab it and run. Bacon, chicken or hamburger were favorites. I’d go back for seconds only to find missing pieces. I loved her dearly.”
Let’s all remember Friday as this week’s LebTown Pet of the Week!
