Drug possession, public drunkenness – On Sept. 12, police charged Emmanuel Steedly, 57, with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after an incident in the area of 3rd and East Pershing avenues.

Theft by unlawful taking – On Sept. 17, police charged Gloria Colon, 51, with theft by unlawful taking after an incident on the 200 block of South 4th Street.

Drug possession, public drunkenness – On Sept. 19, police charged Joshua Roy-Morgan, 29, with possession of drug paraphernalia and public drunkenness after an incident on the 00 block of South 9th Street.

Aggravated assault, disorderly conduct – On Sept. 19, police charged Jose Mercado Velazquez, 37, with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct after an incident on the 400 block of Pershing Avenue.

Lebanon County Regional

Retail theft – Police charged Alexander Oquendo Ortiz, 34, with misdemeanor retail theft after an incident June 17 at Fine Wine & Good Spirits in North Cornwall Township, in which Oquendo Ortiz stole $155.97 worth of merchandise.

Loitering and prowling at night, public drunkenness – At 3:03 a.m. July 8, police responded to the 500 block of Weavertown Road in North Lebanon Township for a disturbance. The investigation revealed that Julio Deleon, 32, was intoxicated and removed a window screen from the front of a home in the area. Police charged Deleon with misdemeanor loitering and prowling at night and summary public drunkenness.

Drug possession – At 3:53 p.m. Aug. 23, police pulled over a vehicle in the area of Colebrook Road and Lilac Lane in North Cornwall Township. The investigation revealed that the driver, Hunter Murry, 24, was in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. Police charged Murry with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Simple assault, harassment – At 9:44 a.m. Aug. 27, police responded to a residence on the 2100 block of Penn Street in North Cornwall Township for a domestic. The investigation revealed that Kara Savidge, 35, struck a female subject at the home, causing injuries. Police charged Savidge with misdemeanor simple assault and summary harassment.

Arrest warrant served, theft by deception – Police investigated a theft at 2:57 p.m. June 7 at Lowe’s in North Cornwall Township. The investigation revealed that Tom Sherlock, 43, conspired with another male to commit a theft at the store. Police issued a warrant for his arrest. On Aug. 28, police located Sherlock in Winchester, Virginia. Police retrieved Sherlock, transported him to LCCB on the warrant, and charged him with misdemeanor theft by deception.

Harassment – At 8:16 p.m. Sept. 10, police responded to a domestic on the 1800 block of Center Street in North Cornwall Township, where police determined that a 20-year-old woman slapped and punched a male. Police charged the woman with summary harassment.

Arrest warrant served, receiving stolen property – Around 1:43 a.m. June 24, police responded to the area of Cumberland and South 16th streets after a reported stolen vehicle was observed in the area. Police then observed the stolen vehicle crash on South 20th Street in North Cornwall Township and saw three subjects flee from the vehicle. An investigation revealed that one of the subjects was Kelvin Rivera Alvarado, 18. Police charged Rivera Alvarado with felony receiving stolen property and obtained an arrest warrant against him. On Sept. 15, police took Rivera Alvarado into custody in York County on the warrant. The York County Sheriff’s Department assisted the Lebanon County Regional Police Department in arresting Rivera Alvarado.

Arrest warrant served, retail theft – At 11:42 a.m. June 23, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township for a retail theft. The investigation revealed that Genesis Vazquez Hernandez, 32, stole $398 worth of merchandise. Police charged Vazquez Hernandez with misdemeanor retail theft and obtained an arrest warrant against her. On Sept. 17, South Lebanon Township Police took Vazquez Hernandez into custody on the warrant.

Retail theft – Around 11:15 p.m. Sept. 22, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township for a retail theft in progress. Police arrived on the scene and located the suspect as he fled the store onto East Lehman Street, carrying several Walmart bags filled with merchandise. Walmart security reported that the male, identified as James Senatus, 36, stole merchandise valued at $190.79. Police arrested Senatus, transported him to LCCB, and charged him with misdemeanor retail theft.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident, stop sign violation – At 7:01 p.m. Sept. 20, a vehicle driven by a 16-year-old Lebanon female juvenile ran a stop sign at Elm Street and Forge Road and struck a vehicle driven by a 71-year-old Elizabethtown woman. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Police charged the juvenile with a stop sign violation.

Vehicle accident – At 9:14 p.m. Sept. 23, a motorcycle driven by a 24-year-old Palmyra man struck a deer on the 1300 block of Old Forge Road. The motorcycle sustained minor damage. The deer ran from the scene.

Vehicle accident, driving vehicle at safe speed – At 8:57 a.m. Sept. 26, police responded to the intersection of Gravel Hill and Bindnagles roads for a single-vehicle crash. Police made contact with the driver, a 39-year-old Palmyra woman, who reported that while she was traveling north on Gravel Hill Road, she was navigating a curve when she lost control of her vehicle. The woman’s vehicle left the road and entered a wooded area beside the road. No injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed by Blatt & Tillett. Police charged the woman with driving vehicle at safe speed. A citation was filed through MDJ Warner’s office.

South Lebanon Township

DUI, drug possession – Around 11:08 p.m. July 18, police pulled over a vehicle on the 2400 block of King Street and learned that the driver, Esther Weiler, 46, was under the influence of controlled substances. Her legal blood test indicated methamphetamine was in her system at the time of the crash. Police charged Weiler with misdemeanor DUI-controlled substances, misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), and summary driving on roadways laned for traffic.

DUI, possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia –Around 8:38 a.m. July 27, police responded to the 1100 block of South Lincoln Avenue for a crash and learned that the driver, Joshua Hartman, 34, was under the influence of controlled substances. His legal blood test indicated cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl were in his system at the time of the crash. Police charged Hartman with misdemeanor DUI-controlled substances and misdemeanor possession with intent to use drug paraphernalia.

DUI – Around 9:14 p.m. Aug. 6, police responded to the 2400 block of East Cumberland Street for a crash and learned that the driver, David Brinkman, 43, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. His legal blood test indicated his BAC was 0.203% at the time of the incident. Police charged Brinkman with misdemeanor DUI-incapable of safe driving and misdemeanor DUI-highest rate of alcohol.

DUI – Around 11:28 p.m. Aug. 23, police pulled over a vehicle along South 5th Avenue and learned that the driver, Shanni Petrino, 46, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Upon receipt of the results of her legal blood test, police learned that Petrino’s BAC was 0.241% at the time of the traffic stop. Police charged Petrino with misdemeanor DUI-incapable of safe driving and misdemeanor DUI-highest rate of alcohol.

DUI, driving on a one-way roadway – Around 12:18 a.m. Aug. 27, police pulled over a vehicle along East Cumberland Street and learned that the driver, Scott Worley, 37, was under the influence of alcoholic beverages. Police charged Worley with misdemeanor DUI-incapable of safe driving and summary driving on a one-way roadway.

Burglary, aggravated assault, persons not to possess a firearm, terroristic threats – Around 9:38 a.m. Sept. 19, police responded to a disturbance on the 100 block of Wheatstone Lane and learned that Billy Edwards, 29, entered an unlocked door of a residence and used a firearm to assault the homeowner. Police charged Edwards with felony burglary, felony aggravated assault, felony persons not to possess a firearm, misdemeanor terroristic threats, and misdemeanor theft by unlawful taking or disposition.

Driving while suspended – Around 2:33 p.m. Sept. 21, police pulled over a vehicle on the 1900 block of East Cumberland Street and learned that the driver, Onix Rodriguez-Acevedo, 47, had his operating privileges suspended (DUI-related). He also had three or more offenses of the same nature. Police charged Rodriguez-Acevedo with misdemeanor driving while suspended, DUI-related, third or subsequent offense.

Western Lebanon County Regional

Harassment – Around 12:25 p.m. Sept. 2, police responded to the 600 block of East Main Street in Palmyra for a report of harassment and determined that a 71-year-old woman slapped another person in the face. On Sept. 10, a non-traffic citation was filed with MDJ Warner’s office, charging the woman with summary harassment.

Bench warrant served, driving while suspended – Around 11:08 a.m. Sept. 19, police pulled over a gold Chevrolet Traverse on the 300 block of West Main Street in Annville and identified the driver as Dustin Livermore, 39, of Harrisburg, who had a bench warrant out of the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Department for failure to appear, with the original charge being harassment. Police verified the warrant, took Livermore into custody, and transported him to LCCB on the warrant. Police charged Livermore with driving while suspended (DUI-related). Police also charged the registered owner of the vehicle with inspection and emissions violations.
