LebTown features a different Lebanon County pet each Friday to help us enter the weekend with the best vibes possible.

Our Pet of the Week sometimes is a local furbaby who already lives in a happy Lebanon County home. Other times the weekly column will spotlight an animal that’s available for adoption through a local shelter and is seeking a forever family.

This week, meet adoptable Riley!

“She is a bit on the shy side,” a shelter rep at the Humane Society of Lebanon County assures LebTown, “but with some patience and gentleness, staff can see her blossoming!”

Riley is one of the kittens currently available to take home from the shelter, and “she is sure to steal the heart of any lucky adopter!”

“Riley does great with other cats, in fact, she seems to rely on them for comfort – so another kitty friend is recommended for Riley. Staff also thinks Riley would thrive more in a home with older kiddos.”

If you are interested in adopting Riley, please fill out the adoption application online at lebanonhumane.org or call the Humane Society at 717-628-1369 for more information.
