Weekend Forecast: A chilly, windy trick-or-treat night with higher temps to follow

Happy Halloween!

A windy, chilly day is on tap with an even colder trick-or-treat forecast. Temperatures on Friday afternoon will struggle to get out of the lower 50s. We will have a mix of sun and clouds, but with winds 15 to 25 mph sustained and gusts near 50 mph at times, it will feel much cooler, so dress accordingly!

Friday night will be extremely chilly as winds will continue to crank during trick-or-treat before subsiding overnight. Dress the children warm, as by 6 p.m., temps will have already fallen into the upper 40s, and with the winds, it will feel like we are in the 30s!

Saturday will be breezy with a mix of sun and clouds with a daytime high in the mid-50s and an overnight low near freezing.

Sunday will turn out fantastic as we will be dealing with partly cloudy skies with temperatures rebounding to either side of 60 degrees.
