With arctic cold coming, Code Blue Alert issued for Thursday night to Saturday AM

The Lebanon County Coalition to End Homelessness has issued a Code Blue Alert that will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, and last until 8 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 6.

The alert is based on National Weather Service forecasts indicating that an arctic cold front will bring plummeting temperatures and “record challenging lows” starting Thursday.

Any individuals or families who are unsheltered are encouraged to contact the Lebanon County Community Action Partnership for assistance in finding temporary overnight accommodations.

The Lebanon County Community Action Partnership can be reached Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. by phone at 717-273-9328 or in person at 220 E. Lehman St., Lebanon.
