The Lebanon City Police Department is excited to announce the return of its second annual Cops and Candy Canes event.

Families are invited to bring their children to the Lebanon City Police Department, located at 735 Cumberland Street, Lebanon, to meet a police officer and receive a festive candy cane.

The police department is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. For questions, please call 717-639-2800, ext. 102.

To better serve the community, groups and after-hours appointments are also available by contacting Millie Zidik at 717-639-2800, ext. 102.

Chief Eric Sims shared the department’s enthusiasm for the seasonal tradition, stating:

“This Christmas, LPD has the privilege of bringing a little extra light to our community and a little extra magic to its children. Cops and Candy Canes is another reminder that we are not only here to protect the community, but we are part of it.”

The Lebanon City Police Department looks forward to welcoming families, spreading holiday cheer, and continuing to strengthen positive relationships within the community.
