Home improvement fraud, deceptive business practices – Police charged Scott Miller, 34, with felony home improvement fraud, two counts of felony deceptive business practices, and felony theft by deception. Charges stem from an incident on May 30 in which Miller agreed to perform contract work at a subject’s residence. Miller failed to start the work after accepting a down payment for the job.

Disorderly conduct – On Nov. 13, police responded to Firestone Tires in North Cornwall Township, where a 62-year-old woman was yelling, using profanities, and threatening a customer in the store. Police charged the woman with summary disorderly conduct.

North Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident, limitations on backing – At 9:11 a.m. Dec. 22, a crash occurred on the 200 block of Oxford Road. A vehicle driven by a 27-year-old Lebanon resident was backing out of a driveway and struck a vehicle driven by a 17-year-old Annville woman. No injuries were reported. Police charged the 27-year-old resident with limitations on backing.

Vehicle accident – At 12:53 p.m. Dec. 20, a crash occurred on the 1100 block of West Main Street in Annville. A vehicle driven by a 74-year-old Manheim woman struck a vehicle driven by a 58-year-old Bainbridge woman after the Manheim woman failed to stop for a steady red signal and struck the other vehicle as it was turning onto West Main Street. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles sustained minor damage and were driven from the scene. Police charged the Manheim woman with a red light violation.

South Lebanon Township

DUI – Around 2:01 a.m. Nov. 22, police pulled over a vehicle driven by Evan Huey, 24, on the 2400 block of East Cumberland Street. Huey was taken into custody for DUI after a roadside investigation. A blood test revealed that Huey’s BAC was 0.206% at the time of the traffic stop. Police charged Huey with DUI-general impairment and DUI-0.16% or higher.

DUI – Around 6:27 p.m. Dec. 7, police responded to a crash on Route 322 near Cornwall Mountain Road. Police said the driver, Benjamin Ober, 37, lost control of his vehicle and crashed while under the influence of alcohol. A blood test revealed that Ober’s BAC was 0.144% at the time of the crash. Police charged Ober with DUI-general impairment and DUI-high rate of alcohol.

South Londonderry Township

Vehicle accident – At 1:57 p.m. Dec. 21, a crash occurred on I-76 at mile marker 236.8 involving an eastbound 2012 Volvo S60 driven by a 19-year-old Elverson man.

Vehicle accident – At 9:48 a.m. Dec. 21, police were on patrol when they came upon a crash in the area of South Forge Road and Northside Drive in Palmyra. Police determined that a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Cleona man failed to yield to a vehicle driven by a 19-year-old Palmyra man at the roundabout. No injuries were reported.

Vehicle accident – At 4:28 p.m. Dec. 18, police responded to the area of Gingrich and Long roads in Hershey for a crash. Police determined that a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Hershey man failed to yield the right-of-way to a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Elizabethtown man. The First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon and Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company assisted on the scene.

Vehicle accident – At 8:55 p.m. Dec. 17, police responded to the 2000 block of South Forge Road in Palmyra for a crash. Police determined that a vehicle driven by a 25-year-old Palmyra man had crossed into oncoming traffic, resulting in a near head-on collision with a vehicle driven by an 18-year-old Palmyra woman. Injuries were reported at the scene, and police were assisted on the scene by the First Aid and Safety Patrol of Lebanon and Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company.

Vehicle accident – At 7:40 a.m. Dec. 17, police responded to the intersection of Horseshoe Pike and West Market Street for a crash. Police determined that a vehicle driven by a 29-year-old Myerstown woman failed to stop before rear-ending a vehicle driven by a 35-year-old Annville man. No injuries were reported.

Theft from motor vehicles – At 6:42 p.m. Dec. 12, police responded to the Paramount Sports Complex for a report of several auto burglaries. Police spoke with four parties and determined that personal property had been removed from vehicles. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is encouraged to contact South Londonderry Township Police.

Vehicle accident – Around 1:40 p.m. Dec. 21, a 2012 Volvo S60 driven by a 19-year-old Elverson man was traveling east in the left lane of I-76 near mile marker 236.8 when the driver fell asleep. The Volvo failed to negotiate a right curve, struck a concrete barrier, and came to a stop partially blocking the left lane. The driver was wearing a seatbelt and sustained no injuries.

Western Lebanon County Regional

Altered, forged, or counterfeit documents – Around 12 a.m. Dec. 8, police pulled over a vehicle on the 1400 block of East Main Street in Annville and observed that the vehicle had fraudulent inspection and emission stickers. Police seized the stickers and charged the driver, Emmanuel Santana-Semprit, 40, with misdemeanor altered, forged, or counterfeit documents and summary unlawful activities through MDJ Ditzler’s office.

DUI, traffic violations – Charges of misdemeanor DUI-highest rate of alcohol, misdemeanor DUI-general impairment, and four summary traffic violations were filed against Selena Rodriguez, 22. These charges are the result of a traffic stop at 1:13 a.m. Nov. 14 on the 00 block of West Cherry Street in Palmyra. Lab results showed that Rodriguez’s BAC was 0.229% at the time of the traffic stop.

Drug possession, period for requiring lighted lamps – At 4:15 a.m. Dec. 17, police pulled over a vehicle on the 800 block of East Main Street in Palmyra. During the traffic stop, police discovered that the driver, Charles Faison Jr., 43, was in possession of a small amount of marijuana. As a result, police charged Faison Jr. with possession of a small amount of marijuana and period for requiring lighted lamps through MDJ Warner’s office on Dec. 17.

Retail theft – Western Lebanon County Regional Police are asking for help identifying the pictured subjects, who were caught on video removing merchandise from Weis Markets, 901 E. Main St., Palmyra, without paying. Anyone who recognizes the subjects can call police at 717-838-8188.
