Fulton Bank has donated its former financial center property at 1 W. Main St., Annville, to Lebanon Valley College.

“As a community bank, we recognize that supporting education is an investment in our future. Lebanon Valley College alumni have gone on to serve as leaders in business, science, and the arts,” Curt Myers, chairman, CEO and president of Fulton Bank, said in a press release on Jan. 15. “That’s why we are honored to donate this property to LVC, to help them continue to grow and expand the positive impact they make in central Pennsylvania and beyond.”

LVC president Dr. James M. MacLaren said he is “grateful to Fulton Bank for this generous donation.”

“We are identifying exciting options for the building’s new purpose,” MacLaren said in the release. “Its central and prominent location in Annville presents us with opportunities to provide new or expanded programs or services to students while maintaining LVC’s connections and presence in Annville.”

The property includes a 4,600-square-foot building and adjacent parking lot at the intersection of routes 422 and 934, according to the press release from LVC spokesman Tom Hanrahan. Fulton Bank, which is headquartered in Lancaster County, previously operated a financial center there. Fulton still has six branches in Lebanon County.

Lebanon Valley College is a longtime customer of Fulton Bank, and several LVC graduates serve the bank in executive roles, including Central Pennsylvania Market president Joe Rilatt (’91, P’24), who is vice chair of the LVC Board of Trustees and incoming board chair, and who helped arrange this donation.
