A 32-year-old man has been arrested after an investigation into a report of the sexual assault of a minor.
According to a press release Thursday, Samuel Scott Vazquez Jr. was accused of committing multiple sexual assaults against a juvenile between 2019 and 2024.
Lebanon city police launched an investigation into the allegations on March 28, 2025. According to the report, the juvenile became pregnant and gave birth to a child in 2021.
During the investigation, DNA was obtained from Vazquez, and subsequent test results conclusively confirmed that he was the biological father.
He was described as a 32-year-old Hispanic male, standing 5-foot 7-inches and weighing 150 pounds.
City detectives executed an arrest warrant on Jan. 28, taking him into custody and transporting him to Lebanon County Central Booking.
According to court records, Vazquez faces nine felony charges including rape, statutory sexual assault, and unlawful contact with a minor.
He was arraigned Wednesday in front of Magisterial District Judge John W. Ditzler and remanded to Lebanon County Correctional Facility in lieu of bail, which was set at $1 million.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Feb. 5 in front of Magisterial District Judge Kim R. Wolfe.
