A restaurant and brewery in the North Cornwall Commons mixed-use development owes almost $83,000 in overdue rent and costs, according to a lawsuit filed last month by its landlord.
A complaint and judgment entered in Lebanon County court on Jan. 5 by Springwood Development Partners LP claims that Isaac’s Craft Kitchen & Brewery at 119 Springwood Drive has not paid rent from July 2025 through January 2026.
Court documents state that the monthly lease amount is $9,967.20. Late fees, interest, and attorney commission, all stipulated in the lease agreement, add another $13,222.94 to the judgement amount.
The complaint also alleges that, under the terms of the lease, Springwood Development is entitled to immediate possession of the restaurant premises. However, the restaurant was open and appeared to be operating normally on Thursday, Feb. 5.
Open since 2022, the North Cornwall Township eatery and on-site brewery is one of 10 deli-style Isaac’s restaurants operating in Lebanon, Lancaster, York, Cumberland, and Berks counties.
According to LNP, the chain closed three other locations last October due to declining sales, the proximity of other Isaac’s locations, inflation, and interest costs.
Isaac’s CEO D. Michael Weaver had not replied to a request for comment by publication time. Springwood’s attorney, Scott Grenoble, declined to comment when reached on Wednesday, Feb. 4.
Court records as of Thursday, Feb. 5 gave no indication that Isaac’s had responded to Springwood Development’s claims or that future proceedings in the lawsuit had been scheduled.
Editor’s note: This article was updated after publication to clarify portions of the judgement which were fees such as late fees, interest, and attorney commission.
