WellSpan’s Take Heart Community Health Expo draws more than 200 attendees

WellSpan’s Take Heart Community Health Expo took place Tuesday evening at the Lebanon Valley Exposition Center.

More than 200 people attended the event that included discussions with WellSpan cardiologists and other physicians, on topics including hypertension, the signs and symptoms of stroke as well as postpartum preeclampsia risks.

The event was geared toward individuals and families to learn more about how they can practice heart healthy living, with screenings offered for high blood pressure as well as diabetes.

Attendees had the opportunity to explore WellSpan EMS vehicles on site for the event, as well as games and door prizes.
