“I stop drinking the coffee, I stop doing the standing, and the walking and the words-putting into sentence doing.” – Lorelei Gilmore
We have concluded yet another fun Java Journey and we had so much fun and had some great coffee while we were out!
Thanks to the crew at Visit Lebanon Valley for putting this together. This was a fun journey. So many great coffee shops here in the Valley. And it was a pleasure to see them busy as we completed the journey. And new for this year, we LOVED the stickers! Bring them back next year.
As promised, we will reveal our top three secret drinks from this year’s journey. But first there are a couple of honorable mentions:
- Cookie Dough Latte – Ancestor Cornwall
- Gnome Nectar – Whirling Dervish
- Furry Fig Latte – Perky Shepherd Coffee Shop.
Here are our top three secret drinks from this year’s Java Journey.
3. Traditional Bicerin– The Timeless Café

Once again opting to be unique in their secret drink choice, this drink is not for everybody but was very enjoyable for us. This drink combines the espresso, ganache and whipped cream in distinct layers. Getting all three flavors delivers a great taste.
2. Honeycomb Drizzle Latte – Timber Creek Coffee

In 2023 and 2024 this was the Java Journey Participant choice winner. A sweet honeycomb flavor that was subtle in flavor and enhanced by the bonus sweet treat. It hit our tastebuds strong this year.
1. Brown Butter Almond Brickle Latte – The Clay House Cafe

For the second year in a row, the secret drink from here was our top choice. From flavor to consistency, it continues to be strong on flavor and enjoyment.
What do you think of our top three? Let us know your favorite secret drinks from this year’s Java Journey.
