DUI, careless driving – Police charged Mary Garcia, 39, with DUI and careless driving following an investigation into a crash at around 11 p.m. Jan. 9 in the area of 9th and Mifflin streets.
DUI – Police charged Pablo Francisco, 31, with DUI at around 3:45 p.m. Jan. 12 on the 500 block of Federal Street.
Retail theft – Around 11 a.m. Jan. 29, police responded to the 800 block of South 12th Street after it was reported that a man stole over $600 worth of merchandise from the store. Police later identified the man as Geraldo Leandry, 42, and charged him with misdemeanor retail theft.
DUI – Around 6:15 p.m. Feb. 19, police responded to the 300 block of Locust Street for a well-being check and charged Samuel Eisenhauer, 42, with DUI and related offenses.
Forgery, theft by unlawful taking, receiving stolen property – Police charged Lanye Taylor, 19, with forgery, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property following an investigation into a fraud complaint filed by a local bank on March 14.
Simple assault – On April 25, police responded to the 100 block of South 8th Street for a physical domestic disturbance. Police observed a visible injury on one of the involved subjects and charged Anthony Rosado, 35, with misdemeanor simple assault.
Public assistance requested – Lebanon City Police are seeking assistance in identifying the man pictured below, who is a person of interest in an ongoing suspicious person investigation. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 717-272-6611 or via CRIMEWATCH.
Lebanon County Regional
DUI – Around 8:50 p.m. March 8, police responded to the 2600 block of West Cumberland Street in North Lebanon Township for a single-vehicle crash. Police suspected that the driver, Jose Gonzalez-Burgos, 53, was driving while impaired and, after receiving the results of a blood analysis, determined that Gonzalez-Burgos was under the influence of a combination of controlled substances. Police charged Gonzalez-Burgos with three counts of misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance and one count of misdemeanor DUI-controlled substance/combination of drugs.
Drug possession – Around 12:36 p.m. March 26, police responded to Rutter’s in West Lebanon Township for a narcotics complaint. A subject reported that Timothy Martin, 44, used their vehicle the previous day, and now the subject discovered drug paraphernalia that was left inside it. Police confronted Martin at his home, where he admitted the drug paraphernalia belonged to him. Police charged Martin with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
Retail theft – Police charged an 18-year-old woman with summary retail theft in connection with a retail theft on April 1 at Sheetz in North Cornwall Township. An investigation revealed that the woman failed to pay for a self-serve fountain beverage.
Retail theft, purchase, etc., of an alcoholic beverage by a minor – Police charged an 18-year-old man with summary retail theft and summary purchase, etc., of an alcoholic beverage by a minor in connection with a retail theft on April 1 at Sheetz in North Cornwall Township. Police determined that the man failed to pay for alcoholic beverages for sale at the store and determined that the man was under the age of 21 at the time of the incident. The value of the merchandise was $31.35.
Harassment – Police charged a 28-year-old man with summary harassment in connection with an incident on April 7 on the 700 block of Halfway Drive in North Lebanon Township. During the incident, the man allegedly circled another person’s vehicle and struck the vehicle, provoking the subject to exit their vehicle. While doing so, the man allegedly threatened the subject with harm.
Disorderly conduct – Police charged a 44-year-old man with disorderly conduct in connection with a disturbance at Sunoco in North Lebanon Township on April 10, when the man allegedly started a physical altercation outside the business, prompting Sunoco employees to activate the business’s panic alarm.
Retail theft – Police charged a 32-year-old man with summary retail theft after an incident April 10 at Walmart in North Lebanon Township.
Retail theft, conspiracy-retail theft – At 6:25 p.m. April 19, police responded to Walmart in North Lebanon Township for a report of retail theft. An investigation revealed that a 17-year-old male stole merchandise from the store and conspired with another male juvenile to steal the merchandise. Police notified the juvenile’s parents and charged him with summary retail theft and misdemeanor conspiracy-retail theft.
Defiant trespass – On April 26, police responded to Briar Lake Community along North 8th Avenue in North Lebanon Township for a trespass. Four juveniles, two males and two females, walked past numerous private property signs and attempted to fish the lake without permission. A resident stopped them and told them they were trespassing. The juveniles continued walking around the lake and not toward their vehicles. The resident stopped the juveniles at the far end of the lake and advised them to leave. The resident informed police that one of the boys was previously found fishing another pond on the property and told he was trespassing. Police charged the 17-year-old male with summary defiant trespass.
Arrest warrant issued – Police secured an arrest warrant for Wilson Echevarria-Mercado, 41, whose last known residence is in Lebanon. This warrant stems from a series of retail theft investigations in March at Target and TJ Maxx in North Cornwall Township. Anyone with information on Echevarria-Mercado’s whereabouts is asked to contact Lebanon County Regional Police at 717-273-8141 or submit a tip through CRIMEWATCH.
Arrest warrant issued – Police secured an arrest warrant for Khaffak Ansari, 60, after he did not appear for a court hearing. The warrant stems from a retail theft investigation around 6:47 p.m. March 3 at Walmart in North Lebanon Township, when Ansari allegedly stole $190.28 worth of merchandise from the store. Ansari was stopped by Walmart employees before he provided his identification and fled. Police discovered that Ansari has two prior convictions for retail theft.
Arrest warrant served – At 3:23 p.m. April 17, police located Jason Moyer, 47, at Rutter’s in West Lebanon Township and arrested him on an arrest warrant.
Arrest warrant served – On April 24, police arrested Hayven Valerio, 24, on an arrest warrant stemming from an incident at Rutter’s in West Lebanon Township. The original charges were misdemeanor terroristic threats and misdemeanor harassment.
Arrest warrant served – On April 28, police arrested Brian Rapoza, 23, on an arrest warrant with the assistance of Lebanon City Police. The original charges were felony sexual abuse of children and felony criminal use of a communication facility.
Myerstown Borough
Liquor violations – The following licensed establishment was cited by the Pennsylvania State Police Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement, Harrisburg District Enforcement Office, in April: Good Will Fire Company #1 of 155 W. Main Ave., Myerstown. The establishment failed to submit annual reports to the state Department of Revenue in violation of Section 328.501(a)(1) of the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act, and failed to submit annual reports to the Department of Revenue in violation of Section 471 of the Liquor Code and Section 328.501(a)(1) of the Local Option Small Games of Chance Act.
North Londonderry Township
Vehicle accident, careless driving – At 7:02 p.m. April 21, police responded to the 00 block of Dianna Drive for a single-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Police charged the motorcyclist, a 31-year-old Palmyra man, with careless driving and operating a motorcycle without a valid Class M license. Police also charged the owner of the motorcycle, a 22-year-old Annville man, with required financial responsibility, no inspection, and no registration.
Vehicle accident, overtaking a vehicle on the left – Around 5:35 p.m. April 22, police responded to West Ridge Road and Highland Drive for a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle. Police said a 19-year-old Palmyra man was riding his motorcycle behind a vehicle driven by a 40-year-old Palmyra man on West Ridge Road. The 40-year-old initiated a left turn into the Ridge Road Sports Complex, and the 19-year-old attempted to pass on the left, striking the driver’s side of the vehicle. The 19-year-old was ejected from the motorcycle upon impact and sustained minor injuries. Police charged the 19-year-old with overtaking a vehicle on the left. The charge was filed with MDJ Warner’s office.
Vehicle accident – At 10:01 p.m. April 24, police responded to the 1000 block of East Main Street for a single-vehicle crash. It was reported that the driver, a 55-year-old Lebanon man, may have experienced a medical emergency while driving, causing him to exit the road and strike cement parking bumpers. The man was transported to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital. The vehicle was towed by Zimmey’s Towing.
Western Lebanon County Regional
DUI, driving the wrong way – At 11:36 p.m. March 17, police pulled over a vehicle after observing it travel against the flow of traffic on South King Street at West Main Street in Annville. During the traffic stop, police found the driver, Joshua Keim, 39, to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested him for suspicion of DUI. On April 9, police charged Keim with misdemeanor DUI-incapable of safe driving, misdemeanor DUI-high rate of alcohol, and summary driving the wrong way.
Harassment – At 8:46 a.m. March 31, police were contacted regarding ongoing harassing communications by Colton Sandt, 36. After an investigation on April 5, a criminal complaint was filed against Sandt for harassment-communicate lewd, threat, obscene, and harassment-repeatedly communicate at inconvenient hours, both third-degree misdemeanors.
Simple assault, harassment – At 12:42 a.m. April 24, police responded to the 200 block of West Sheridan Avenue in Annville for a domestic dispute. Police identified Eyan Buxton, 23, as one of the subjects involved and determined that he assaulted another subject, causing injuries. Police arrested Buxton on charges of misdemeanor simple assault (domestic violence-related) and summary harassment. Buxton was transported to LCCB without incident.
Welcome Officer Joseph Walsh – The Western Lebanon County Regional Police Department would like to introduce its newest member, Officer Joseph Walsh, who was sworn in on April 28 by MDJ David Warner Jr. of Palmyra.
