In the Net Sports Complex is scheduled to begin installation of a new fabric covering over its existing permanent dome structure in May. The dome structure, originally built in 2001, is host to a wide variety of youth and adult field sports.

Work on the 60’ high, 60,000 square foot dome structure will begin in mid-May with a completion date of mid-September. The re-fabric will be completed in two phases. Phase one will include adding aluminum extrusions over the existing steel girders and will take about four weeks. Phase two will begin in mid-July, when the install of the actual fabric covering will take place.

Signature Structures, an Easton, PA based construction company specializes in tensile fabric applications. The company has completed projects for the Philadelphia Eagles Nova Care practice facility, as well as the New England Patriots practice facility. Both practice facilities are very similar to In The Net’s dome structure.

Activities scheduled inside of the dome will be unaffected during the entire re-fabric process. Signature Structures fabric installation process tensions the new fabric material directly over top of the existing cover, which allow activities to safety continue throughout the process as 90% of the work is completed on the exterior of the structure.

In The Net’s continued effort to re-invest into its 35 acre sports and recreation complex is to provide players, coaches and attendees locally and afar the most modern and up to date fields and venues to play and compete at top levels.

In The Net has become Central PA’s destination sports and recreation facility.

In The Net, Inc., Central PA’s premier sports complex, is located at 798 Airport Rd., Palmyra PA 17078. For upcoming more information on events, visit https://www.inthenet.com or call 717-838-8706.
