The Annville Free Library will host its ninth 5K Book It! Fun Run/Walk on Saturday, June 13, beginning at 8 a.m. at Annville Cleona High School, 500 S. White Oak St.

The event will be held rain or shine, prior to the start of Historic Old Annville Day. Proceeds benefit the library, one of six libraries in the Lebanon County Library System.

Online registrations are due by midnight on Friday, June 5. Beginning Saturday, register at the library or at the race. Registration costs $35 for adults or $15 for children under 11.

The deadline to receive a race t-shirt has passed; however, participants will receive a bib to track their time and have the opportunity to win prizes, enjoy complimentary Rita’s Italian Ice, Pretzel Factory pretzels, and other food. Music is provided by DJ Mike Boltz.

Trophies will be awarded to the overall top two male and female runners and medals to the top two male and female runners in each age category. Race results will be posted to falconracetiming.com.

Participants are invited to bring new or used books to donate to the library.

Registrants may pick up their race packets in advance at Annville Free Library, 216 E. Main St., Annville, on Friday, June 12, from noon to 4 p.m., or at Annville Cleona High School on race day between 7 and 7:45 a.m.
