The South Lebanon Township Board of Supervisors unanimously approved the release of a $24,000 bond for LaserFab during its meeting Tuesday.
The decision came after the township received a recommendation from Bolt Engineering stating that the work associated with the bond had been completed and recommending its release.
The bond was posted in connection with a land development project approved by the South Lebanon Township Planning Commission in 2023. The project included a building addition at LaserFab’s facility.
Supervisors also reviewed an updated from the Lebanon County Conservation District in regards to their ongoing efforts to monitor for mosquitos throughout the county that may be carriers of West Nile virus.
“(Lebanon County Conservation District) has set the traps and so far this season none of the traps test positive from the samples collected in South Lebanon Township,” said chairman Stephen Krause.
South Lebanon Township supervisors will next meet on Tuesday, July 14, at 7 p.m. at 1800 S. 5th Ave., Lebanon. Meetings are open to the public.
