This specialized training enhances officers’ skills, allowing them to better serve and engage with the community while patrolling on two wheels. The police department commends officers Derolf and Seyfert for their dedication to professional development and public safety.

A special thank you to the Lebanon Valley Bicycle Coalition for their generous donation and support in helping send officers to this outstanding training opportunity! Community partnerships like these play a vital role in strengthening public safety and expanding opportunities for continued learning and growth.

Drivers observed committing aggressive driving violations can expect to be stopped and cited. Enforcement efforts will focus on speeding, tailgating, red light violations, heavy truck violations, pedestrian safety, and other aggressive driving behaviors, including driving too fast for conditions and other unsafe actions.

This initiative is part of Pennsylvania’s Highway Safety Program and is funded through PennDOT using federal highway safety funds from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
