State police are investigating a burglary at a Myerstown sporting goods store in which four handguns were stolen early Friday morning.
Troopers from the Pennsylvania State Police barracks in Jonestown received a call at about 5:17 a.m. reporting that someone had broken a window and entered Laucks Sporting Goods at 26 W. Main Ave. in Myerstown Borough, according to a news release.
An investigation determined the intruder took four handguns from the store, police said. The break-in occurred sometime between 5 and 5:17 a.m.
Police described the suspect only as an unknown individual believed to have been dressed in all black. No arrests have been made.
Investigators are asking anyone with information or home or business surveillance video showing suspicious activity in the area between 5 and 5:30 a.m. Friday to contact the Jonestown barracks at 717-865-5067
