Lebanon City police are asking for the public’s help identifying two men sought in connection with a shooting that left a man wounded in the leg.
Officers were called to WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital at 252 S. Fourth St. at 7:27 p.m. July 13 for a report of a gunshot victim, police said. Investigators initially could not determine whether the wound was accidental, self-inflicted or intentional.
Further investigation revealed the victim had been involved in a physical altercation with two unidentified men in the area of 13th and Mifflin streets, police said. The victim sought treatment for a gunshot wound to a lower extremity that was not life-threatening.
No arrests have been announced and the investigation is ongoing.
