The Lebanon Area Fair finished its annual event with a drive-in fireworks show.

The event is free to enter, however, donations to help fund the fireworks display are greatly appreciated.

It’s the annual event of the summer, and it has been for over sixty years.

Concession stands including Penn Valley Shows, Lebanon County Dairy Promotion Milkshakes, Auntie Anne’s Pretzels and Robin’s Italian Ice will be in attendance providing drive-in fair food.

Alayna Harrell, a 2020 Annville-Cleona High School graduate, is continuing her service to the agriculture community as an officer for the Pennsylvania State FFA organization.

Danielle and Justine Geyer are more than a couple of turkey experts. The Myerstown sister tandem is bent on raising their birds to the best of their abilities, together.

Everyone age 19 and younger is eligible to enter exhibits in the youth category, even if they are not in 4-H or FFA.

The fair, which will be from July 25 to August 1, will consist of youth animal shows and indoor exhibits and drive-through food pick-up from 4-H and FFA fundraising barbecues and certain fair vendors.

Lebanon’s population of animals and farm creatures has always had a large presence at the Area Fair, and this year was no exception.
