On Sunday, Oct. 17, the Pennsylvania Game Commission will once again open the Stony Valley Rail Trail to motor vehicles for the annual State Game Lands Driving Tour.

The event offers plenty of options for enjoying the 33-acre park, including a walk among new tree plantings, a game of volleyball, music and water sports.

Car enthusiasts may want to head out to Keller Bros. Ford Saturday for a car show. The free event, which will feature a variety of vehicles, will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. at the dealership, 1030 Shaeffer Rd., Lebanon.

The event runs from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at the brewery, 2701 Horseshoe Pike, Palmyra.

The 8th Street Music and Art Festival returns to Lebanon from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18 on South 8th Street, between Cumberland and Chestnut streets.

Hinkelfest will return Sept. 17-19 at Fireman’s Park, 2625 S. Pine Grove St. (Route 343), Fredericksburg, with all of the annual event’s favorites – food, games, carnival rides, a craft and vendor show, petting zoo, pony rides and outdoor entertainment.

The Friends of the Lebanon Community Library Book Sale will be held on the lawn of the library (125 N. 7th St.) Sept. 18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank will host a blood drive at the Campbelltown Volunteer Fire Company (2818 Horseshoe Pike, Campbelltown) this Sunday, Sept. 12, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Girls on the Run (GOTR) fall season will kick-off on Sept. 13 and will culminate in a 5K on Nov. 6 at Millersville University for the girls and a running buddy.

The Lebanon County Suicide Prevention Task Force is asking members of the community to light a candle in the window for World Suicide Prevention Day.
