The 12th annual Give Thanks for Lebanon 5K/10K will be held this Saturday just before the Community of Lebanon Association’s Holiday Parade.

Harrisburg-based journalist Nick Malawskey posted a picture today of the recently-renovated Mammal Hall at the State Museum of Pennsylvania, drawing to our attention the fact that the exhibit’s groundhog scene takes place in Lebanon County.

The Community of Lebanon Association’s 2nd Annual Holiday Lights in the Park begins in just a couple weeks, with the light show remaining open through December.

Based at two “encampments” in downtown Lebanon, campaign organizers and volunteers will be effectively homeless from Friday at 6am to Saturday at noon.
