Yesterday’s rainstorms broke records, according to local weather service Lebanon County Weather, which shared stats in a Facebook update this morning.

The previous record had been set in 1972 with Hurricane Agnes which produced 9″ of rain. Newmanstown broke that record, measuring 9.41 inches from just a few hours of precipitation. Mount Joy in Lancaster saw 10.57 inches!

Shafferstown also received heavy rain, measuring 8.91 inches.
